One-day Executive Symposium

held in conjunction with the 

33rd Annual Training Conference*

Monday - November 22, 2021

9am-5pm, Oak Brook, Illinois

Presentation exclusively for:

Chiefs, Sheriffs, Deputy Chiefs and Command Officers

While the traditional 3-day full conference is open to all, the one-day Executive Symposium is specially designed to present current topics to Chief Executives and their command staff. Presentations will be conducted by ISP / ITOA Medical Director Doctor Andrew Dennis, Chief Pat Kries, Chief (ret.) Jeff Chudwin, Eric Arnold from ILETSB Executive Institute, Chief Edward Mohn, ILEAS Special Teams Assist. Coordinator Randy Olsberg, ITOA K9 Training Coordinator Bert Badertscher & Clinical Psychology Professionals.

Subjects to be presented will include:

Review & Update of:

            • ·         January 1, 2022 ILETSB Training Mandate Achievement Recommendations
            • ·         ILESTB Executive Institute 2022 Training Mandates & Executive Training Strategy
            • ·         Law Enforcement Resiliency Defore / During & Post Event
            • ·         SAFE-T Act Update & Status
            • ·         IACP Body Worn Camera Committee
            • ·         K9 Critical Incident Support & Training
            • ·         Realistic De-Escalation Integrated Tactics Capability & Training
            • ·         Civil Disorder Planning & Capabilities Recommendations
            • ·         ILEAS Special Teams Capabilities & Training
            • ·         Illinois Mental Health Annual Screening Requirement Impact

Those attending the Symposium may receive 6 Hours of Continuing Education Credits as mandated by the Training Board.

Cost: $150.00. Which Includes: One Day Executive Symposium, One Year ITOA Membership, Vendor Show, Continental Breakfast, Lunch & Banquet Dinner. Or you can attend the symposium as part of the full 3-day conference.

You can attend the symposium as part of the full 3-day conference.

ABOUT ITOA

This is an opportunity for tactical officers to gather together to compare ideas and experiences. Through education and networking, it was hoped that high-risk operations requiring the use of a tactical team would be made safer.
