The Illinois Tactical Officers Association in cooperation with the

Illinois State Police D5 Firearms Training Facility is pleased to offer this training opportunity:

Tactical Rifle/Pistol FTX

Dates: April 10th, 2021 

Times:  9:00am-3:00pm

Details: Show up and check in between 9-12. Shooting between 9am -3pm

Location: ISP District 5 Firearms Range Lockport, IL

COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Due to COVID-19 and safety mandates the Tactical Rifle/Pistol FTX will be limited to no more than 30 officers for the day, in order to adhere to proper social distancing. You must register in order to attend. No walk-in’s accepted. Check-in will be outside on the west range with last check in time being no later than 12:00pm. Shooters will have the ability to run through multiple courses of fire covering the tactical application of the pistol and rifle at their own pace. Shooters will be able to re-shoot the courses of fire as many as they choose, son long as open space on the firing line is available. Due to COVID-19 social distancing is still required and congregating in groups must be avoided. Please wear your mask upon checking in on the west range.     

GOALS & OBJECTIVES:

Enhance the officer’s ability to perform Tactical Live Fire techniques and tactics

To allow students the opportunity to participate in realistic live fire scenarios that will enhance their capabilities to respond to Active Threat situations.

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Be proficient and familiar with the fundamental safe operation of the duty pistol and police tactical rifle.

            $40 – Non-Members, Includes a one year ITOA Membership
