Rescue Task Force Certification

Time: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This one day, 8-hour course has been designed to train Police Officers and Firefighter/Paramedics in the specialized skill sets necessary to perform the Active Threat Rescue Task Force mission.
RESCUE TASK FORCE (RTF) OPERATIONAL CONCEPT: Police Officers and Firefighter/Paramedics operating together in the warm zone during an Active Threat situation rapidly performing critical lifesaving medical procedures and triage under the force protection of law enforcement. Locating, treating and transporting victims to definitive medical care quickly will increase the probability of saving the lives of those who may have otherwise died from their injuries.
The course will have a short classroom introduction. The remained of the time will be hands-on practical training on RTF skill sets and team tactics / techniques.
COURSE PREREQUISITES: Police Officers should have basic knowledge of and be proficient in Basic Rapid Deployment tactics and techniques.

Non-Members: $165.00 (includes a one-year ITOA membership)
