Held two days prior to the start of the ITOA Annual Training Conference, this Glock Skilled Maintenance Course can be added on to your conference experience or attended as a standalone course.
Class duration: 8 hours
In conjunction with NEMRT MTU #3
Proposed Mandate Hours (Training Board certification pending) Officer Safety Techniques 2.5 hours / Scenario Based Training 1 hour
To cover as much as we can for you, we plan on a working lunch and
ask that you bring a bag lunch / food and drinks for the day.
Purpose: A properly maintained and functioning duty handgun is paramount to the safety of officers and the public. This class will instruct individual officers in the nomenclature, function, and long-term maintenance of their Glock firearms. Officers will learn to detail strip and inspect their weapons for proper cleaning and wear inspection. They will learn about preventive maintenance and parts replacement schedules to keep their weapons duty ready. Officers will learn to troubleshoot and resolve function issues should they arise.
