It is with great pleasure that we officially announce that the 2024 Illinois Tactical Officers Association Annual Training Conference will be held November 24-25-26, 2024 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS INCLUDE:

• Kyle Morgan, retired military member of Special Forces and member of the nation's premier counter-terrorism unit, prepares you for active threat situations with lessons on the Protector Mindset and resilient leadership.

• Marcus Sprague, with guest speaker Brent Stratton, covers the five most common mistakes made during an active shooter response and how to mitigate challenges. Marcus is the Vice President of the California Tactical Officers Association and host of the CATO Podcast.

• Commander Scott Byrd of the Metropolitan Nashville PD shares lessons on preparation and training learned from the Covenant School shooting incident.
• Jason Redman, retired Navy SEAL, bestselling author and acclaimed national speaker, will share how he fought back from his early leadership failures to redemption and respect in fierce firefights in Iraq, being shot eight times, including a round to the face.
• Jared Reston, Patrolman, Detective, SWAT Operative and Tactical Trainer, talks about his multiple officer involved shootings, physical and emotional survival, and details how he survived being shot seven times and was still able to return fire and kill the suspect.
• Chris Palmer, Phoenix PD firearms trainer, training review committee member, and co-author of the department's use of force policy, returns to talk about training effects on officer involved shootings.

Conference Cost Includes: Full Access to 2.5 Days of Conference presentations; 1 Day Vendor Show; Lunch on Monday & Tuesday

Registration:

$350 for current ITOA members (dues paid on/after today's date in 2023)

$390 for non-members (activates your one-year membership)

Conference hotel address and link to book rooms at the discounted conference rate of $109 plus tax will be included in your confirmation email.
