RESCUE TASK FORCE COURSE

Lake Villa, IL. Thursday, September 3, 2026   9am-5pm

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This one day, 8-hour course has been designed to train Firefighter/Paramedics in Active Threat Rescue Task Force response skill sets. The focus of this program will be to provide Rescue Task Force knowledge and the specialized tactical skills required when responding to an Active Threat situations.

RESCUE TASK FORCE OPERATIONAL CONCEPT: Police Officers and Firefighter/Paramedics operating together during an Active Threat situation rapidly performing critical lifesaving medical procedures and triage under the force protection of law enforcement.

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Be a certified EMS provider, Firefighter and/or Paramedic.

COST: The course is grant funded – so there is no cost to attend.
